One of PAJHRA’s goals to advance the livelihoods and rights of Adivasi people is to use PAJHRA’s training centre as a model farm and cultural arts centre.

Model Farm and Cultural Arts Training Facility
PAJHRA currently operates a training centre used for educational programmes, trainings, and multistakeholder and community meetings. The training centre also sits on land that could be used as a pilot farm, offering guidance in best practices in farming, animal husbandry, horticulture, and fishery. Many Adivasis work in agriculture, and these trainings would help strengthen their knowledge and capacity. The training centre site could also be used to facilitate training in cultural arts like handloom, arts and crafts, production of musical instruments and traditional as well as modern fishing and hunting equipment. These plans are not yet underway, but PAJHRA seeks to develop them in a phased manner with the support of the community starting from 2018.
